Umar Farooq appeals Obama to prioritise Kashmir

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has appealed to the American President, Barack Obama to impress upon India to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations. Mirwaiz addressing his party workers in Srinagar, said that during his visit to India, the Obama must prioritise the Kashmir dispute in his talks with the Indian leadership to ensure peace and stability in South Asia.

He emphasised that India should withdraw its forces from the occupied kashmir.

On the other hand, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one more innocent Kashmiri youth during siege and search operations in Banihal. Dozens of people were injured when Indian police resorted to violence against peaceful protestors in Srinagar, Baramulla, Shopian and Islamabad. An Indian soldier was killed in mysterious circumstances at an army camp in Uri.

The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party in a meeting in Srinagar, today, expressed concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah. Dukhteran-e-Millat in a statement strongly condemned the arrest of Hurriyet leader, Massarat Aalam Butt.

Kashmiri must seek same International political and diplomatic negotiating status as that of Palestine to represent kashmir at the UN and also need to change pro pakistan and Indian Kashmiri Negotiators,Kashmir Needs Negotiators who will represent Kashmir Independent Interest both Politically and economically.
